Professional>> Jim began his career as an ironworker apprentice in 1982 and quickly moved through the ranks from foreman to field superintendent to estimator/division manager. Those who work closely with Jim appreciate his problem solving abiliities and approach to team building. He has earned an excellent reputation from general contractors for quality work and meeting project schedules, as well as his innovative ideas for improving the rebar installation process. .

Passion>> Jim’s number one passion is his family. He has been married to his wife, Debi, for 38 years and they’ve been blessed with a son, daughter, and five grandchildren who are the center of their universe. Jim also thrives on making a difference in other peoples’ lives and walking alongside others and being there for anyone in need. His personal life journey has provided him with tools to mentor others who are searching for direction. One of his goals in the ironworker trade is to help to improve the culture. And you need only to look at the team Jim has built to realize he is fulfilling this goal extremely well.

Personal>> Outside of work Jim enjoys family time. He’s always looking for any opportunity to gather his family together, whether it’s a movie, a pool party/cookout, riding four wheelers, or walking the creek through his property soaking up nature and collecting buckeyes for necklaces to support the Bucks. Jim has been an avid archer for nearly 30 years and shoots in a league each week, as well as 3D archery events on weekends. One of his favorite places to unwind is on the beautiful waters of Lake Erie. In Jim’s words, “There’s nothing more relaxing than slowly trolling along listening to music, enjoying the breathtaking views, and reeling in those delectable walleye!” He and his wife, Debi, also enjoy traveling any place with blue water, white sand, and exceptional food.
